Trump will hold a new rally in Pennsylvania after assassination

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will revisit the town of Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was grazed by a gunshot to the right ear during a July 13 rally.

The presidential candidate writes this on the social media Truth Social, which he himself owns.

“I will be returning to Butler, Pennsylvania for a big and beautiful rally and honoring our beloved hero, Firefighter Corey, and the brave patriots who were wounded two weeks ago,” Trump wrote on Friday.

The former president was not seriously injured when he was attacked during the election rally.

On the other hand, one man, firefighter Corey Comperatore, lost his life in the audience, and two other male participants were injured. They were initially in critical condition, but later stabilized.

20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks has been named by the US authorities as the man behind the attack.

He was shot and killed on the spot by Secret Service agents.

According to Chris Wray, who is the director of the US Federal Police, FBI, Thomas Matthew Crooks became “very focused” on Trump and his rally a week before – around July 6.

He had done a Google search asking “how far away was Oswald from Kennedy?”.

Lee Harvey Oswald was an American warehouse worker who in 1963 was arrested and charged with the assassination of the then President of the United States, John F. Kennedy.

The president was shot and killed at a parade in Dallas, Texas.

According to Chris Wray, two hours before the poll, Thomas Matthew Crooks had flown a drone near where it was being held.

The drone was in the air for approximately 11 minutes.

On Wednesday, Chris Wray cast doubt on whether Trump was grazed by a definite shot or whether his ear was hit by a fragment. He did so before a committee in the House of Representatives.

On Friday, Trump counterattacked Chris Wray via Truth Social, where he attached a photo of himself during the rally. In the photo, according to Trump, the bullet can be seen passing him after he was hit.

– Perhaps FBI Director Chris Wray will note that it is not fragments or glass flying through the ear – only a bloody bullet.
