Jackson, who examined Trump, made a written statement about the former president’s condition.
Jackson said that Trump has been with him since the assassination attempt, that he has been evaluating and treating his wound every day, and that he is in good condition.
Jackson said the bullet passed a few millimeters from Trump’s head and hit the top of his right ear, adding, “The bullet mark created a 2-centimeter-wide wound that extended to the cartilage surface of the ear.”
Jackson pointed out that there was significant bleeding at the beginning, followed by significant swelling at the top of the ear, but this resolved over time, “The wound has started to heal properly. There are still intermittent bleeding from the ear that requires dressings.” He gave his statements.
Noting that Trump’s first aid was provided by the medical staff of “Butler Memorial Hospital” in the Butler region of Pennsylvania, Jackson emphasized that the former president’s wound was treated excellently.
Jackson said hospital medical staff provided a comprehensive evaluation for additional injuries, including a CT scan of Trump’s head, and that other evaluations, including a comprehensive hearing exam, will be conducted as needed.
Jackson stated that Trump’s condition was generally good and that the gunshot wound he received on July 13 was healing as expected. “It’s a miracle that he didn’t die.” He used the expressions.
