Donald Trump described Joe Biden as “by far the worst president in the history of our country” in a telephone conversation with CNN, a few minutes after Biden announced his withdrawal from the electoral race.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that Joe Biden “was not fit to run for president and certainly not fit to serve the country and never was.”
“Con artist Joe Biden was not fit to run for president, and he is certainly not fit to serve – and never was! He only got to the position of president through lies, fake news and the fact that he never left his basement. Everyone around him, including his doctor and the media, knew he wasn’t fit to be president, and he wasn’t – And now look what he’s done to our country, with millions of people coming across our border, totally unchecked and unapproved, many from prisons, mental institutions, and a record number of terrorists. We will suffer greatly from his presidency, but we will repair the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote.
While it was unclear who the Democratic nominee would be, Trump said he believed Vice President Kamala Harris would be easier to beat than Biden would have been.
