Samsung has just launched the latest generation of its foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.
As a unique trial, Danish consumers can now try the phones for free and without obligation at YouSee and the Elgiganten before they buy.
The initiative also applies to the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7.
It takes time to get the market used to a completely new form factor. That is why Samsung in Denmark, as the only country in Europe, has just launched a nationwide initiative where consumers can get the foldable phones in hand and experience all their advantages before they buy. It is done in collaboration with YouSee and Elgiganten and is thus available throughout the country. Consumers can test the products for a full 14 days, and the option applies for the rest of the year.
At Samsung Denmark, country manager Claus Holm is looking forward to getting the foldable phones into even more hands:
“We are pleased with the good reception our foldable models have received. We find that people get really excited when they get them in hand and feel the benefits of the foldability, the interaction between watches and mobiles or the completely new health functions. Therefore, we now want to give even more people the opportunity to have this experience and thus gain the courage to take the leap from their traditional phone to the foldable form factor. It is the first time in Europe that we have a program like this, and we have high expectations.”
The power giant is also looking forward to the unique experiment:
“We see it as a fantastic opportunity for our customers that they can freely and freely test a new format and thus make it easier to switch from their normal smartphones to either a Samsung Flip6 or Fold6. We look forward to helping a lot of customers get started really well, and of course we ensure – in cooperation with the customers – that the phone is set up and ready for use when they leave our warehouses. It is important that you experience good support when you have to throw yourself into something new such as changing your smartphone. Fortunately, we have experts in all our warehouses who can ensure a good experience,” says Allan Olderkjær, Sales Manager for Telecom in Elgiganten.

The phones will be available for loan from 17 July at YouSee, and at the latest from 1 August at Elgiganten.
