“Type “P” weather twice in the new week…”. Two atmospheric disturbances in the new week, Wednesday-Thursday and Friday-Saturday bring rains, storms, very strong southern snows in the mountains and even Saharan dust. The areas that will receive the highest amounts of rain will be western, northern Greece and the eastern Aegean”, says Giorgos Tsatraphyllias initially in his post.

“The snow due to the high temperatures for the season will be limited to the mountains of northern Greece. The strengthening of the west and south-west winds will also be important, reaching 7-8 Beaufort in the seas. The temperature will be 3-4 degrees above the normal levels for the season. Also the African dust transport episode does not seem important. PS: This change in the weather is normal for the season”, he concludes.
