TSMC is set to achieve 100% utilization of its 3nm production line

TSMC seems to be doing better than ever. According to a report by Taiwanese magazine Ctee, the manufacturing giant is enjoying high demand for its 5nm and 3nm technology.

At a time when Intel is struggling with internal reorganization and Samsung is struggling with the yield of its production line, TSMC is getting a very strong position in the market. As Ctee informs, next year TSMC expects 100% utilization of its production line for 5nm technology. Behind this high demand is supposed to be a big boom in artificial intelligence, especially the demand for the Nvidia Blackwell B200. It was this customer who was supposed to be behind most of the orders, and TSMC is supposed to give priority to Nvidia until the American factory starts up.

Of course, there is also great interest in the latest 3nm technology. A number of technology companies fighting for the greatest possible performance, such as Apple, MediaTek or Qualcomm, are interested in this. Even Nvidia should use 3nm chips in the new Blackwell generation.
