Two cow thieves arrested in Anwara

Two active thieves have been arrested by the police in the case of looting cows at gunpoint in Anwara upazila.

On Wednesday (November 6) they were arrested by conducting raids at various places in the upazila.

It is known that the arrested persons are Abdur Rahim (42) of Syedkuchaiya village of Barkhain Union of the upazila and Abu Taleb Prof. Bailla (55) of Soleman Sardar’s house of Noor Para of Battali Union.

Confirming the matter, Anwara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Monir Hossain said that two people have been arrested in the case of cow theft. They were sent to the court in the afternoon. We will apply for their remand. We want to arrest the main gang of cattle thieves.
