Two dead in a parking lot in Germany: They arranged an intimate relationship in a van

The citizens of Frankfurt were disturbed by the tragedy that happened on Friday evening in a parking lot in the city’s Rosengarten district.

The bodies of a woman (35) and a man (58) were found in a white van with Berlin license plates, who allegedly agreed to have sex in the van.

According to initial information, the woman left her child with an acquaintance earlier that day with the intention of meeting a man. They agreed to meet in a van in the parking lot, but the situation ended fatally. Since the woman did not return to pick up the child, the people who were looking after him contacted the police around 19:30.

Police soon found the woman’s vehicle parked next to the delivery van. While inspecting the scene, the officers smelled an intense smell of gas coming from the van, which is why they immediately called the fire department.

Firefighters opened the vehicle and found the lifeless bodies of a woman and a man. Although emergency services attempted resuscitation, it was too late – doctors could only confirm death.

The police launched an investigation to determine the cause of the tragedy. One of the main theories is that a gas leak from a faulty cylinder in the van caused the couple’s death. For now, the possibility of a criminal act or joint suicide is ruled out.
