Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz won in his second appearance at the Champions Tournament in Turin and maintained his chance to advance to the semi-finals.

The first set of the match between Alcaraz and Rubľov was evenly matched at the start, the Russian averted two break points from his opponent in the fifth game, but he failed in the seventh and Alcaraz took a 4:3 lead, which he confirmed with another break in the ninth game and won the set 6:3 .

“I could have played better, I’m not going to lie. I was worried about my health all week and today I thought I would feel better. I played OK, but I thought about that first loss against Ruud and the fact that I was sick .
Today I wanted to go out on the court and think only about tennis,” said Alcaraz, who initially lost to Norwegian Casper Ruud 1:6, 5:7.
The first set of the match between Zverev and Ruud brought an extremely balanced fight. Neither player lost serve and had to decide a tiebreaker. The German fared much better in it, leading 6:1 and eventually winning it 7:3. Nora did not break this moment and the second act also had a balanced course.
Everything was decided by the eighth game, in which Ruud was the only one in the meeting who did not hold serve, and Zverev subsequently added to the duel when he used the very first match point.
