Two more street taps with drinking water stopped working in Daugavpils

As of November 4, the operation of two free-access drinking water taps has been stopped: in Dubrovina Park (near the fountain) and in Esplanade Park (next to Music Square), reports Daugavpils ūdens.

However, as in previous years, two free taps will continue to operate in the city during the winter, providing access to drinking water throughout the year on Yudovka (at the intersection of Liela and Silenes streets) and on Griva (at the intersection of Seliyas and Brivibas streets ).

Due to the fact that the average air temperature in the area of Bolshiye Stropi Lake is lower than the air temperature in the city center, the free tap on the central beach (near the lifeguard station) was closed at the beginning of autumn. The operation of seasonal public drinking water points will be restored with the onset of warm weather.

In total, in Daugavpils there are five street drinking water taps connected to a centralized water supply system. Daugavpils ūdens specialists care about the quality of this water. The location of all free faucets can be viewed at tickets.
