In St. Petersburg, from October 1, two more types of themed “Plantains” will begin to be sold.
According to the press service of the Transport Committee, the design was developed for the International Day of Older Persons. The travel cards are planned to be released in a limited edition of 100 thousand cards – 50 thousand pieces in each version.
New themed “Plantains” will be available for purchase at all ticket offices of the St. Petersburg metro, as well as at all points of sale of tickets of the State Public Institution “Transportation Organizer”.
The department noted that this limited edition was the third in a series of travel cards dedicated to the Year of the Family in Russia.
Earlier it became known that the virtual “Plantain” will be launched in St. Petersburg before the end of the year.
