Streaming provider Netflix has acknowledged the transmission problems in the boxing match between former world champion Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. “60 million households around the world tuned in live to watch Paul vs. Tyson!” said a post from Netflix on the Internet platform X. “The mega boxing event dominated social media, broke all records and had even our buffer systems in the ropes.”
During the preliminary fights on Saturday night, the picture stopped for many customers, and sometimes only the sound continued. At X, numerous users posted photos of error messages and complained about poor resolution. The influencer Paul (27) won the fight against Tyson, now 58 years old, in Arlington, Texas, unanimously on points. Some fans and observers saw it as an embarrassment for Tyson, who had little chance against his opponent, who was 31 years his junior.

Former world champion Mike Tyson has revealed serious health problems in preparation after his defeat in his boxing comeback. “I almost died in June,” the 58-year-old wrote on the Internet platform X. “I had eight blood transfusions. I lost half my blood and 25 pounds in the hospital. I had to fight to get healthy for the fight, so I won.” He did not provide further medical details.
