More adrenaline for those who thundered on a malfunctioning stream on Netflix. The match Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson didn’t impress and that’s for one main reason – even a fighter like Iron Mike can’t stop the growing years.

Mike Tyson in a fight against Jako Paul.
He was once the best boxer on the planet, a feared fighter with deadly punches and quick movement. But that was three decades ago, and the “current” Tyson is a long way from his bright days.
He will celebrate his 59th birthday next summer, and whoever thought he had a chance to win a surprise against Jakob Paul was badly mistaken.
If the American veteran wanted to achieve it, he would have to hit Paul in the first two rounds, because he was no longer in control from the third.
The numbers also testify to this. The 27-year-old Paul defeated the 58-year-old Tyson after the unanimous verdict of the arbitrators, who counted the points 80:72, 79:73, 79:73 in favor of the controversial YouTuber.
It was Tyson’s first professional duel since 2005 and it showed. During eight 2-minute rounds, he hit his opponent just 18 times, while Paul had 78 significant strikes.
In the crucial 3rd round, he hit Tyson with 16 punches, which is almost as many as Tyson did in the whole fight. After that it was just a game of cat and mouse. Paul had several opportunities to finish his opponent, but out of respect for the legend, he did not.

Tyson took to social network X on Saturday night to post a message to fans during which he admitted the truth.
His health problems, for which the duel had to be postponed from the original date (July 20) to November 15, were much more significant than the original information.
During complications with stomach ulcers in June, he lost a large amount of blood, at one point he needed up to eight transfusions.
“This is one of those situations where you lose, but you’re still the winner. I’m grateful for the match. I don’t regret stepping into the ring for the last time.
I almost died in June. I lost half my blood, needed eight transfusions. I lost 13 kilos, I fought to get well. I did it, so I’m a winner for myself,” Tyson wrote on the social network.
He repeated what he had already said before the match – that it means a lot to him that his children saw him box.
“I finished 8 rounds with a talented boxer half my age. And all in front of my kids and a packed Dallas Cowboys stadium. That is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you,” Iron Mike said.
He will collect 20 million dollars for the fight against Paul, which should provide him with a decent retirement. Paul is not idle and is already “arguing” a new opponent, calling out several names, including Irish MMA star Conor McGregor.
