YouTuber Gu Je-yeok (real name Lee Jun-hee), who is accused of extorting money by threatening mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jeong-won), stated on the 26th, “I will faithfully cooperate with the investigation” ahead of the suspect interrogation (substantial examination of the arrest warrant) before his arrest.

At around 9:18 AM on that day, KJY arrived in front of the Suwon District Public Prosecutors’ Office in a black, short-sleeved T-shirt and pants and spoke to reporters as follows. He then entered the building with prosecutors and investigators.

Suwon District Court will conduct a substantive examination of the arrest warrant for two YouTubers, Foot and Mouth Disease and Jujak Gambeolsa (real name Jeon Guk-jin), starting at 10:30 AM today. The decision on whether to issue an arrest warrant is expected to be made as early as this afternoon.

The foot-and-mouth disease and forgery investigator are accused of blackmailing Tzuyang and receiving 55 million won in return for not exposing her ex-boyfriend’s past in February of last year.

In relation to this, YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute claimed on the 10th of this month that so-called “cyber wreckers” such as Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Forgery Appraisers had threatened Tzuyang using the fact that she had worked at a bar in the past as an excuse.

Then, Tzuyang directly explained, “I was forced to work because I was suffering from assault and threats from my ex-boyfriend,” and filed a complaint with the prosecution against the foot-and-mouth disease investigator, the forgery investigator, the crime lab operator, and the anonymous blackmailer.

On the 18th of this month, the prosecution searched and seized the residence of Foot-and-Mouth Disease and others, and on the 22nd, they summoned Foot-and-Mouth Disease and the forgery investigator for questioning. Then, on the 23rd, they requested a pre-arrest warrant for them on charges of extortion, intimidation, and coercion.
