Ukraine can hold on to the occupied territory of the Kursk region for at least several months / Day

“Bloomberg” sources admitted that Ukraine has not yet had significant problems with supplies to the Kursk region, as the Russian armed forces have carried out only limited counterattacks there, focusing on advancing further into eastern Ukraine.

In addition, after months of waiting, Ukrainian troops achieved a stable supply of ammunition. This became possible thanks to the efforts of allies, including the Czech initiative in ammunition supplies and the efforts of the United States and France to develop Ukraine’s artillery potential in a long-term perspective.

The Bloomberg article notes that Ukraine’s summer operation in the Kursk region surprised Kyiv’s allies with rapid success at its start. Some officials, however, feared that the operation would come at a high price if Moscow counterattacked and pushed Ukrainian forces out of the Kursk region.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has announced that Ukraine can use the occupied territory of the Kursk region as a trump card in negotiations. However, it is unclear when talks with Moscow could take place, given that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has shown no serious readiness for them.
