We are not afraid, since we have been at war for almost three years. It is clear that the policy of the United States is of great importance to us, they are our main ally. And we know very well that American society is with us

Jermak said.

He recalled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent meetings with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, which he described as “warm.” According to Yermak, Zelensky’s meeting with Trump also “went very well.”

I was there, I won’t give details because it was behind closed doors, but I can say that we came back from the United States with the conviction that neither candidate wants to allow Putin to win this war and that military support will continue

– remarked the head of the presidential office.

Jermak emphasized that Trump also talks about the need for a just peace. He added that although the Republican Party is different from the Democratic Party, they are well aware that Russia attacked Ukraine.

The US presidential election will take place on November 5, 2024, with the main race between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris. The latest polls show Trump with a slight lead over Harris, though a Bloomberg poll showed the candidates tied in seven key states.
