Ukraine is supported by the income from the porn industry

A Ukrainian woman who created paid content on the Internet platform OnlyFans paid more than 13.2 million hryvnias in personal income tax and military industry contributions to the Ukrainian state coffers. This was reported by Danyiil Hetmancev, chairman of the Finance, Tax and Customs Committee of the Ukrainian Parliament, on his Telegram channel – he wrote and Life.ru.

The Ukrainian authorities “No.” citizen was obliged to declare his income, as it was derived from the creation of paid content on the OnlyFans internet platform. The woman thus paid more than 13.2 million hryvnias in personal income tax and military industry contribution to the budget.

After that, the staff of the Ukrainian tax authority will continue to process information related to foreign income, including income earned on OnlyFans. Attention is drawn to the fact that paying taxes and contributions is a constitutional duty of every citizen. Violation of tax rules can lead to financial liability, while intentional tax evasion can even result in criminal consequences.

Earlier, it was also reported that Ukraine legalized the pornographic website PornHub, which in return was willing to pay part of its income as taxes to the treasury.

Hetmantsev reminded Ukrainians that tax evasion is a criminal offense and urged them to self-declare any income that comes from foreign sources.
