“Ukraine must come to terms with the loss of territory”

The leader of the Polish coalition of nationalists and Eurosceptics “Confederation” and a candidate in the 2025 presidential elections, Slavomir Mencen, said today that Ukraine must accept territorial losses in order to end the conflict with Russia.

According to him, stopping this conflict will increase the probability of maintaining a sovereign Ukraine.

“Currently, the Ukrainians are giving in, and the longer this war lasts, the worse the situation will be for Ukraine,” he told Polish Radio Zet.

The presidential elections in Poland will be held in 2025, and the exact date has not yet been determined. According to the Constitution, the current head of state, Andrzej Duda, will not be able to run for office, as he has been in office for two consecutive terms.
