Ulsan City to implement ‘artificial intelligence-based spatial information convergence search service’ in November

Digital replication (twin) pilot project hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

8 administrative utilization models including customized tourism and job information

An artificial intelligence location-based public information search service will be implemented in Ulsan starting in November.

Ulsan City will hold a report on the completion of the ‘Establishment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Spatial Information Convergence Search Service’ project in the situation room on the 7th floor of the main building of Ulsan City Hall at 2 pm on the 30th.

The briefing session will be attended by about 20 people, including Ulsan City Executive Mayor Ahn Seung-dae, Ulsan City, and developer company officials, and will consist of watching a promotional video, reporting and demonstrating project progress, and answering questions.

This project is to provide administrative information on tourism, jobs, etc. by fusing it with spatial information and visualizing it in 3D. Ulsan City was selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s ‘Digital Replication (Twin) National Land Pilot Project’ contest in July last year and is being promoted.

A total of 1 billion won was invested, and it is based on the Ulsan digital replication (twin) online system (platform) established in July of last year.

We developed eight administrative utilization models, including ▲customized tourism ▲job information ▲disaster shelter ▲industrial complex resident companies ▲administrative information report writing ▲user creation ▲weather information ▲carbon neutrality, among which customized tourism, job information, disaster shelters, industrial complex resident companies, etc. Four administrative utilization models are provided to citizens through the representative websites of Ulsan City and five districts.

The service is scheduled to begin full-scale service in November after a month-long pilot operation in October.

An official from Ulsan City said, “This service was promoted to increase administrative efficiency and provide citizens with convenient administrative services that they can directly experience in their daily lives.” He added, “During the pilot operation, we collected voices from various citizens to provide more useful and accurate information.” “We will do our best to provide 3D spatial information,” he said.
