Samsung is preparing to launch the next generation of its flagship phone series, the Galaxy S25.
A number of leaks suggest that this launch will bring not just two or three models, but even four distinct variants.
Galaxy S25 Slim: a thin design
Most intriguing is the existence of a slimmer model.
According to information provided by UniverseIce on X, this device will benefit from an “Ultra camera”.

While it’s not clear exactly what it’s referring to, it’s possible that this could mean carrying over one or more cameras from the S24 Ultra or even the upcoming S25 Ultra.
Just rumours?
We have to look at this information with caution, as thin phones normally have less room for extensive camera hardware.
Therefore, we would have expected the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim to benefit from fewer or lower performing cameras than the rest of the S25 series.
However, it is possible that this model inherits the main 200-megapixel sensor of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, without including other cameras on the back.
A possible price
If this happens, it will be interesting to see and at what price the device will be sold. An impressive camera combined with a slim and stylish design could turn this phone into a premium device.
Colors and customization options
There is also more evidence of the existence of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: the website SmartPrix has identified model numbers for four different variants of the S25 series in the GSMA IMEI database.
In addition to the standard S25 and S25 Plus models, as well as the Ultra version, there is also a model number SM-S937U, which presumably represents the Galaxy S25 Slim.

Recently, information has also appeared regarding the colors in which the new smartphones from the Galaxy S25 series will be available.
According to another X user, there will be exclusive shades, likely only available through Samsung’s online store. These would be called Coral Red, Pink Gold and Blue/Gold for the S25 and S25 Plus, respectively Titanium Jade Green, Titanium Pink Gold and Titanium Blue/Black for the S25 Ultra.
When will it be available
The exact official release date of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is still unknown.
Estimates indicate that this will happen in January or February 2024. The Galaxy S25 Slim could hit the market a few months later.
