We are always delighted with a device that… breaks the monotony and the new Nova 5G Pro that reached our hands does just that! It is the second Nova branded device in Greece and comes to offer affordable 5G connectivity to the Greek public, with significantly improved technical characteristics that can surpass the average user! Let’s see it…

The Nova 5G Pro is available through of Nova stores and of Nova.gr, at cost €199,99 or free if combined with the Unlimited All program.

The Nova 5G Pro comes in black color with a glossy, impressive back with a huge camera module. Obviously Nova is not the manufacturer as the device is theirs ZTEknown for its quality devices. The weight of the device is approx the 200 grams and its thickness is at expected levels (8,5mm)while in the package you will also find a silicone case that helps with grip and protection.

The keys are on the right, at the bottom you will find one audio jack and the Type-C port, while on the right is the slot for nano-SIM and microSD. In the package you will find also 22.5W charger and Type-C cable.

Moving on to the tech specs, the screen is IPS with a diagonal 6,6″ and refresh rate at 90Hzwith analysis HD+ (1600×720 pixels). The brightness is relatively good and despite the large bezels and hole-notch for the selfie, in general it left us satisfied. Inside the Nova 5G Pro we find the octa-core Unisoc T760 chip, together with 256GB storage space. From a side RAM we have 6GBwhich are expanded via RAM extension mode. The performance is enough for simple use, as you understand and will cover the average user, but we have to admit that we were expecting a higher and newer chipset than the one that had the first Nova 5G phone.

In terms of cameras, we have a dual camera on the back, with a main sensor 108MP and one depth sensor. The main sensor supports and HDR (Auto), while it can download up to 4K video στα 30FPS. We also have a function night shootingamong others, but also refocus, thanks to the depth sensor, as well portrait. It is worth mentioning that it is also supported RAW HDR shooting photos for maximum detail. The selfie camera does not claim laurels, with a sensor 8MPbut for simple video calls it will cover you, as well as the classic selfie with good lighting.

In terms of connectivity we have, obviously, the support 5G networks, which is also the big “weapon” of the Nova 5G Pro. In addition, however, we also have an eSIM option, which is not easily found in such affordable smartphones and is certainly one of the advantages of the device. The device also accepts supports BT 5.2, WiFi ac while it has and NFC. He’s running Android 14 with a “pure” interface, but also a few pre-installed applications.

Finally, the battery has capacity 5.000mAh and comfortably offers a day’s wear, so it’ll cover you with ease. It is charged at 22.5W, more than double that of its predecessor and certainly enough for most users who… can’t wait.

Bonus, the news Nova Budsthe company’s wireless TWS headphones that are just coming to €24,9 with Bluetooth 5.3, up to 3.5 hours of talk time and 25 hours with the 310mAh case and IPX4 waterproofing, for those looking for a decent, cheap set of headphones!

The Nova 5G Pro is another interesting and dynamic attempt by a Greek provider to offer its own smartphone and certainly for Nova customers who want a cheap 5G phone, a second device or a device for another family member without many requirements, it is a worthwhile proposition!
