Under the hammer a BMW M4 CSL with only 40 km.

A classic case of an owner who acquired a car made for the track and “tastes”, with the sole purpose of profit. This particular M4 CSL was delivered new to the German company’s customer in January 2023, with 29km on the odometer, all of which were ex-factory and pre-delivery.

After driving just 11 km, the owner has now decided to put it up for sale via online auction. $145,395 was spent on the car, with the highest bid at the time of writing reaching $69,420, with five days left in the process.

The car is painted in Frozen Brooklyn Gray Metallic with a black interior, with production of the BMW M4 CSL limited to 1,000 cars worldwide.

Mechanically, the M4 CSL wears the 3,000 cc twin-turbo engine that produces 550 horses at 6,250 rpm, with torque reaching 650 Nm between 2,750 and 5,950 rpm. Drive is sent to the rear wheels via the 8-speed automatic M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic, and it weighs 1,625 kg.

It does 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 10.7 seconds, with top speed electronically limited to 307 km/h. It is the fastest production car of the German company at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, since it achieved a time of 7:20.207.

The car features a number of aerodynamic improvements, with the design of the front end optimized to provide maximum engine cooling while also creating the required downforce.
