Branch Managers’ Conference was held to review the achievements of Union Bank PLC’s Business Plan-2024 and provide guidance for the preparation of Business Plan-2025. The conference was held at the bank’s head office on Sunday.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Union Bank PLC Md Farid Uddin Ahmad was the chief guest at the conference.
The Chairman of the Risk Management Committee spoke as a special guest at the event. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of Audit Committee Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Director Dr. Shahidul Islam Zahid. Shafiuddin Ahmed, managing director of the bank (ongoing duty) presided over.
Deputy Managing Director also spoke. Jahangir Alam.
The chief guest addressed all the participating branch managers in his speech, ‘You have to be more customer friendly, comply with Shariah and collect deposits locally to eliminate the liquidity crisis by gaining the trust of customers and continue to make strong efforts to recover defaulted loans.’
The conference also discussed in detail on bank deposits, investment, foreign trade, expatriate income and various ongoing issues. A detailed review of the achievements of the Business Plan-2024 with the Branch Managers and directions for the preparation of the Business Plan-2025 are given.
