The international airport in Kazan did not send or receive flights for about an hour – restrictions were introduced to ensure security measures. This was reported by the Federal Air Transport Agency.

The restrictions were introduced around 9 am. As a result, several flights from St. Petersburg to Kazan were delayed, the Pulkovo online board reported. So. The departure of North Wind Airlines flight N4 247, which was supposed to depart at 9:25, was postponed by almost half an hour, as well as Aeroflot flight FV 6593 – it took off at 10 a.m. instead of 9:30. In addition, the arrival of North Wind flight N4 250 was delayed – it landed at 10:50 instead of 10:15.

The Federal Air Transport Agency added that aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures.

At 9:38 it was reported that restrictions had been lifted.

The Federal Air Transport Agency did not specify the exact reason.
