Unveiling the Safety Features of the Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter

DAPURPACUID – Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter has finally been officially launched at the 2024 GIIAS event held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, after previously appearing on several occasions.

Even several logistics fleet companies have felt the benefits of light commercial trucks with pure electric engines, to support their business performance.

It is not without reason for PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors not to immediately release the truck in Indonesia, considering that various driving support features have been embedded in the eCanter.

The presence of these safety features is believed to be able to reduce the high rate of traffic accidents, which as is known, often involve commercial vehicles.

For example, the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) feature. As is known, one of the causes of traffic accidents involving commercial vehicles is the driver’s poor condition and uncontrolled vehicle speed.

This condition can be prevented with the very sophisticated ESP feature, where this feature functions to stabilize the vehicle when braking in dangerous situations.

This feature allows a truck driver to maintain perfect control of the vehicle’s steering and avoid accidents.

Another feature that is no less sophisticated is the Land Departure Warning System (LDWS), which functions to control fast-moving vehicles to stay on their lane.

LDWS helps maintain vehicle control in difficult driving situations, such as sharp turns or slippery road surfaces, reducing the risk of skidding or even rolling over.

Not only that, thanks to the Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) technology, the driver will be given a warning to people around him that a vehicle is approaching.

There is also an Intelligent Headlight Control (IHC) feature, to help with lighting at night that is adjusted to your needs automatically.

To improve visibility and safety when parking, this truck is also equipped with a cabin rearview mirror integrated with a rear camera.

This feature greatly helps drivers to park their vehicles safely, reducing the risk of collision with surrounding objects or pedestrians.

Sales & Marketing Director of PT KTB, Aji Jaya said, the Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter launched at GIIAS 2024 has the most sophisticated safety features in its class.

“The features start from AVAS, IHC, and Lane Departure Warning System. We present all these features to ensure comfort and safety for drivers,” he added to reporters in Tangerang, Tuesday (23/7).

In addition to the various sophisticated features, the presence of eCanter also proves KTB’s commitment to the environment without having to sacrifice the performance of commercial vehicles in supporting business operations.

The existence of these zero-emission trucks also helps reduce air pollution and negative impacts on the environment, as well as supporting government efforts to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality in urban areas. (dpid/DF)
