The renewed Han was presented by BYD, with the model getting new bumpers, new exterior colors, LiDAR on the roof and inside it we find a 15.6″ touch screen, leather upholstery, aluminum and wood decorations, air-conditioned seats with massage function, Dynaudio sound system 12 775 Watt speakers and more.
In terms of engines, the model is offered as a plug-in hybrid and as a pure electric. The first one combines a 1,500 hp gasoline engine and an electric motor, with the whole producing 422 horses. Its electric range is 125 km, while the total range is 1,350 km.
The pure electric is offered in 3 versions with 204, 228 and 245 horses and carries the 800V Blade battery that can charge at a rate of 160 km/10 minutes of charging. Depending on the version, the range in the Chinese CTLC test cycle is announced at 506, 605 and 701 km per charge.
In China the Han PHEV costs between ¥165,800 – 225,800 (€21,118 – €28,760), while the pure electric is priced between ¥179,800-235,800 (€22,900 – €30,030).
