Upgraded Seat Leon eHybrid with a range of 900 km

Seat has revealed details about the improved Leon eHybrid model, which has become the most powerful and efficient hybrid in the history of the Spanish brand.

When it comes to this plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model, the most attention is attracted by its new battery with a capacity of 19.8 kWh, which makes it possible to travel 133 kilometers using only electric drive, however, the total range of the car is an impressive 900 kilometers.

Leon eHybrid combines a 1.5-liter TSI gasoline engine that develops 150 HP and an electric motor that delivers 115 HP, and there is also a 6-speed DSG gearbox. In total, the powertrain offers 204 hp and 350 Nm of torque, it says Klix.ba.

In addition, the model supports DC charging with a capacity of up to 50 KW, and the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes. On the other hand, the AC charging of 11 kW has been retained.

Seat Leon eHybrid

Leon eHybrid is available in two body versions, as a hatchback that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and as a Sportstourer wagon that reaches “100” in 7.9 seconds.

The interior is more technologically advanced, it has a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit, which replaces the 12.9-inch screen in the premium version. Matrix LED headlights and touch-sensitive panels used to control the air conditioning and multimedia are part of the standard equipment.

On the domestic market in Spain, the starting price is 36,450 euros. It is important to note that the Leon eHybrid is only offered in the FR version with an emphasis on sporty design.
