The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change explained, item by item, how the legal process regarding urban transformation works in the earthquake zone is carried out.
In the post shared on the Ministry’s social media account, it was emphasized that all real estates were temporarily taken into the Treasury’s custody in order to accelerate the construction and prevent the process from being interrupted. It was underlined that when the construction was completed, the residence/workplace was delivered to the rightful owner who requested it, and the updated price of the real estate was paid to those who requested it.
TRANSFORMATION IN STATE SECURITY
In the post, the urban transformation process in the earthquake zone was explained in 7 articles as follows:
1-Urban transformation works are carried out by the ‘Urban Transformation Directorate’ affiliated with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
2- The Presidency accelerates the planning, project, license and permit processes in urban transformation areas so that citizens can settle in their new homes as soon as possible.
3- In order to manage the process from a single source, all real estates are temporarily registered under the name of the Treasury and taken into state custody.
4-The construction permit for the new building is issued in the name of the Treasury.
5-Until the transfer of independent sections to the rightful owners, the floor easement and condominium ownership are established in the name of the Treasury.
6-When the construction is completed, the residence/workplace is given to the rightful owner who requests it, and the updated price of the real estate is paid to those who request it.
7- The delivery process is completed with a contract for the rightful owners who want to buy a house/workplace, by deducting the current prices of their real estate from the discounted construction costs.
