Users of Microsoft 365 are hit with error message

For the past month, an error message has hit Microsoft 365 users trying to update the application, writes Bleepingcomputer. The error message, which has the designation 30088-27drew attention to Microsoft Community and Windows Tenforums.

The error message also affects you who use click-to-run versions of Microsoft Office from 2016, 2019 and 2021. According to some who complained, the error also affects the latest Office version: 2406.

A Microsoft Community moderator says the best solution for the Office bug is to go back and run an older version of the application and turn off automatic updates. Some in the forum say it is not a solution while others say it works.

According to Bleepingcomputer, bring up the command prompt in Windows, right-click on the icon and select Run as administrator. Then paste the command prompts below and press Enter after each.

After you go back to an older version of the program, you should be able to access Filesedan Account and choose Disable updates under The update settings.
