Uttara Paschim Thana Awami League president Ad. Manowar Islam Chowdhury Robin has been arrested by the police.
He was arrested from Uttara’s house on Friday afternoon said DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Md. Obaidur Rahman.
He said, Arrested during the anti-discrimination movement. Manowar Islam Chowdhury Robin played a strong role in suppressing the movement in Uttara area. He is accused in seven cases in Uttara West Police Station and five cases in Uttara Purba Police Station.
The arrested Awami League leader has been sent to court.
