A Race – Legend, like the Dakar is an amazing challenge for every participant, especially since everyone’s first goal is to finish the marathon Race. For the third consecutive time the only Greek participation in the famous Race is that of Vassilis Boudros with the DNA AIR FILTERS RACING TEAM- ENDURO GREECE on a Husqvarna 450 Rally.
With the experience of the previous two years, Vassilis knows well how to move in the #OriginalByMotul category, the most difficult category, since each participant is completely alone in terms of external help, that is, he prepares and repairs the motorcycle and the next day morning he has to run on the huge Special Routes.
He himself, in the middle of everything, when he can and has a signal on his mobile phone, uploads some photos and some videos, to give us his own side of the Race.

“So, I want to tell you that I am hopefully… a corpse!
Just kidding, the signal in the Alula scenes is non-existent so I’m forced to upload anything. I don’t want to leave you without a response, so I’m writing them here briefly for today’s, merciless, I emphasize merciless… Stage 4:
• We started in the morning for the liaison kilometers in really terrible cold, we recovered 1 hour later in the special. Things were so difficult that the organizer himself comes and tells us at the start of the special to put on our jackets because it would be even colder along the way, nice I say…
• Good morning, STONES, COTRONIA and again STONES .. Lunar landscape, familiar from yesterday’s special, but we keep reaching the first supply like the Quasimodos!!
Hands completely gripped by the vibrations, we stayed for an extremely short time and then continued for the rest of the kilometers. I was going well, I felt good, we were riding almost all day together with #116 Strachan Canadian, #107 Rafic and the Lithuanian in #71 so we had a nice fast pace!
• Notably, we had cars on our back from the 120km of the special.. pure bitterness! Then we continued steadily towards the last waypoints and at some stage I understand something strange on the rear wheel.. I stop for a while, luckily only one of the chain guards was unscrewed I tightened it and continued to the finish.
• We arrive at Bivouac, god forbid, 6 big tents and anyone who catches up with the Lord (any Lord don’t get me wrong) sees.. As Original by Motul we had 1 hour at our disposal for repairs due to Marathon Stage, so I made the protector saw the basics and then Park Ferme my Pnoula until tomorrow morning!
• Food and now I send you before bed ..
Tomorrow, second day of the Marathon with a short liaison and a 428 km special to Hail. I see Friday as a Rest Day, when I will have time to tell a story!

Finally, Vassilis with a nice stable drive has managed to climb to the 11th place of #OriginalByMotul in the Dakar Rally and he can also enter the top ten under conditions in the second half of the Race that will start the day after tomorrow.
