The Dutch bicycle brand has discovered problems with the front fork of its e-bike. Veloretti is currently approaching customers for an appointment where the bicycle is collected free of charge, fitted with a new front fork and returned.
This concerns two versions of the same e-bike model: the Ace Two (with bar) and Ivy Two (step-through frame). According to Veloretti, this concerns only a small part of the e-bikes in circulation: hundreds of bicycles from the first batch of production in 2023. Those affected are known to Veloretti and have been specifically approached for an appointment. Until then, Veloretti advises against using the bicycle as a precaution.
You do not have to take your e-bike to a service point yourself. Veloretti will have the bicycle collected, you will immediately receive an e-bike as replacement transport and as soon as your own steel horse has been repaired after a few days, it will be delivered back to your home and the replacement transport will be taken with you. Excellent service.
Veloretti regrets the inconvenience
In a response to Bright, Veloretti said the following: “Safety always comes first, and that is why we err on the side of caution. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.”
Veloretti was founded in Amsterdam in 2012 with the aim of making timeless bicycles of good quality. Since 2022, it has been part of the PON group, which includes various bicycle and car brands such as Volkswagen and Gazelle. The bicycles are designed in Amsterdam with production facilities throughout Europe, where the bicycles are assembled by hand.
Our editor-in-chief Erwin rides an Ace Two, with almost 5,000 kilometers on the odometer, and previously presented his endurance test. His e-bike will also be picked up one day.
