Verifield survey, commissioned by USR. Ciolacu and Simion, in the final


According to a USD survey published on Saturday, PSD president Marcel Ciolacu is in first place in the presidential race.

The survey, which was carried out by the Verifield company, reveals, among other things, that several candidates from the top of the ranking have lost the support of the electorate.

Marcel Ciolacu still remains in first place in the presidential race, with 26,3%followed by AUR leader George Simion (18,8%), down from 21.2%.

Elena Lasconi is in 3rd place, with 17,1%increasing compared to the period 1-6 November, when it was 15.7%.

On the 4th place is Mircea Geoană, with 8,1%, down from the previous survey conducted at the behest of the USR at the beginning of the month, when it was rated at 13.2%.

Nicolae Ciucă, the president of the PNL, is in 5th place in the survey, with 7,3%compared to the 8.5% it had between November 1-6.

  • Kelemen Hunor (UDMR), with 4.7%

The data were collected between November 8 and 14, 2024, using the CATI method (telephone interviews).

The maximum allowed error of the data is ±3.12%, at a confidence level of 95%.

The AtlasIntel survey was conducted between November 9-12, on a sample of 3,035 respondents. The methodology used was random digital recruitment, with the research having a margin of error of ±2 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
