Verizon Business is now showing how 5G can transform content production and distribution at IBC2024

For the second year in a row, Verizon Business is partnering with IBC’s Accelerator Program to focus on how generative AI can strengthen the connection between content and audiences.

Verizon Business is attending IBC2024 in Amsterdam to showcase how its technology solutions enable broadcasters, content creators and rights holders to innovate and improve their experiences for customers and fans.

Experts from Verizon Business will be on hand to discuss how this helps meet the changing needs of the industry in terms of cloud usage, remote manufacturing needs and new consumption and delivery models.

Ultra-low latency enables instant content processing

Verizon Business has installed a private 5G network in the IBC Accelerator Zone in the events area (RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre). The network powers a cutting-edge interactive experience that leverages AI to create and deliver personalized highlights of sporting events to end users based on their unique preferences. The innovative demo will demonstrate how the ultra-low latency of Verizon’s private 5G network enables near-instant content processing, enabling broadcasters to deliver real-time content directly from the sports arena to viewers worldwide.
