Viaplay Group appoints William Linders as CEO of Viaplay Netherlands as of January 1, 2025. Linders was recently director and partner of OD Media, a company in the field of digital content distribution platforms and known for partnerships with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Apple.
At VodafoneZiggo he was responsible for the introduction of MyPrime, Horizon Go and Ziggo Sport. He also held management positions at Fox Mobile and Endemol Shine with a focus on digital content and international expansion.
In his new role, Linders will be responsible for the Dutch branch of Viaplay Group and report to Jørgen Madsen Lindemann, Viaplay Group President and CEO. Roger Lodewick, former CEO of Viaplay Netherlands, is leaving Viaplay immediately to take on new challenges.
Viaplay Netherlands is the exclusive home of Formula 1, all English football including the Premier League, PDC Darts, Bundesliga, IHF World Cup Handball, Tulp Hoofdklasse Hockey, Enfusion and more. In addition to all live events on the Viaplay platform, a selection of content can also be seen on the Viaplay TV linear channel.
