Video doorbell from Tapo

Tapo has just announced that the new Tapo D235 video doorbell will now also be available on the Danish market. It happens during the autumn. The video doorbell comes with a built-in camera with 2K 5MP resolution that captures even the smallest details, while the video doorbell offers a 180° field of view, so you’re always sure what’s happening around the front door.

Whether you prefer wireless convenience or wired reliability, the Tapo D235 is a great choice. The video doorbell is equipped with a powerful, rechargeable 10,000mAh battery that ensures up to 210 days of continuous use. If you choose the wired solution, you get the added benefit of pre-roll video recording and uninterrupted surveillance around the clock.

With a strong 2K 5MP resolution, the Tapo D235 ensures that you can see all the details that otherwise go far beyond what traditional HD cameras can offer. With a 180-degree ultra-wide-angle field of view, you hardly miss anything, as the camera captures everything from head to toe. Even under complicated lighting conditions, the night function with spotlight should make it possible to get perfectly sharp images, so that your home remains safe – day and night.

Smart functions

The Tapo D235 does more than just keep an eye out – the video doorbell also comes with smart functions. Thanks to AI technology, the video doorbell can easily identify people, pets, vehicles as well as packages. When movement is detected, a notification is sent to your smartphone, so you can follow all activity on your property in real time. The video doorbell also comes with a feature that enables two-way communication, making it possible to communicate directly through the Tapo app, which can be downloaded for free to your smartphone.

Designed to withstand all weather conditions, the Tapo D235 comes with an IP66 certification, making it reliable in rain, snow and sunshine. To further increase security, the camera also comes with a theft alarm that activates if the camera detects suspicious activity. In addition, it is possible to create user-defined activity zones, so you can keep an extra close eye on the areas that are most important for you to secure.

Save recordings locally or in the cloud

The Tapo D235 supports both local and cloud storage, so you can save recordings to a microSD card (up to 512GB) or use Tapo Care cloud services for extra storage space. Tapo D235 supports both Alexa or Google Assistant.

The Tapo D235 is already available at a suggested retail price of DKK 1,199.
