There are a lot of gaming monitors and a new model ViewSonic VX2563-HD-PRO aimed at those players who primarily need a high refresh rate and want a higher resolution or screen size. This monitor has a small 24.5″ Fast IPS display with a Full HD resolution, i.e. 1920×1080 pixels. Through the HDMI 2.0 interface (there are two ports), the maximum refresh rate is 240 Hz, DisplayPort 1.4, however, offers an even higher 300 Hz (it can both FreeSync and G-Sync synchronization technology.The monitor has a classic contrast of 1000:1 and a brightness of typically 300 nits (so it only supports HDR10).
The novelty has a 1 ms GTG response and supports 8-bit colors (ie 16.7 million shades). It covers 99% of the sRGB gamut and 83% of DCI-P3. For gamers, we also have functions such as crosshairs or shadow light functions. Low Blue Light or Anti-Flicker are suitable for work. The stand offers the option of tilting from -5° to +15°, however, it does not allow for height adjustment or sideways rotation. But it can be placed on a wall or arm thanks to VESA 100x100mm. The equipment also includes a 3.5 mm audio jack. It is not yet clear when (and if) it will appear outside of China.
