There’s now an official song about the internet’s favorite baby hippo, Moo Deng. The song was released in four languages, to be understood by his fans around the world, according to AP News.

The 50-second song “Moodeng Moodeng”, available in Thai, English, Chinese and Japanese versions, features simple lyrics such as “Moo Deng Moo Deng, boing boing boing/Mami mami, play with me”. The music video for the song consists of short clips of the baby hippo hopping around, playing with its keeper or sitting with its mother, Jona.
The catchy music track was produced and written by well-known Thai composer Mueanphet Ammara and released by one of Thailand’s biggest music companies, GMM Music.
All four versions of Moo Deng’s song are available on YouTube and streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.
Moo Deng became a global phenomenon just a month after it was posted on Facebook by the Khao Kheow Zoo in Chon Buri Province in southern Thailand.
Ahead of the US election, the chubby hippo “predicted” Donald Trump’s victory. The experiment took place at the Khao Kheow zoo in Thailand, where the keepers placed in front of the animal two portions of carved fruit, each representing a candidate. The baby hippo chose Trump and the video went viral on the internet.
