According to the statement made by the ministry, flowers were presented to Tekin, who spoke to the students who welcomed him at the school with Turkish and Pakistani flags.
Tekin visited the classrooms and laboratories and met with students and teachers and received information about the education provided at the school. Teachers and students expressed their gratitude to Tekin for his visit.
Tekin delivered the 50 thousand masks sent by AFAD to the Punjab province to Punjab State Health Services Minister İmran Nazir, who accompanied him during his school visit, and planted a commemorative sapling in the school garden.
Minister Tekin said the following in his speech to the teachers whom he later gathered in the meeting hall of the school:
“During this 3-day visit to Pakistan, we are evaluating what we can do to strengthen the friendship between the two countries, to make it more permanent, and to ensure that future generations embrace this friendship. We will continue this friendship in a much stronger and healthier way. We often hear about Pakistan- “I am happy to witness the brotherhood of Turkey here. I thank all of you and we are committed to continuing this friendship forever.”
