Flip phone manufacturers year after year comes with more advanced machinesboth in terms of construction, which in new models is usually lighter and thinner than their predecessors, and in terms of equipment. For example, the upcoming “book” foldable from the Chinese brand Vivo will have a battery that will be the envy of many flagship smartphones.
The manufacturer itself has not yet officially confirmed anything, but a respected insider, Digital Chat Station, came up with the details. The one in contribution reported on the Weibo platform that the Vivo X Fold4 will get battery with 6000mAh capacity. This year’s X Fold3 has a 5,500 mAh battery, while the competing Honor Magic V3 offers “only” 5,150 mAh.
At the same time, the increase in capacity should not have any negative effect on the structural design. The leaker talks about extremely low weight and equally good thicknesstherefore, on the contrary, a shift forward can be expected. The processing of the phone should be one of its main distinguishing features.
The Vivo X Fold4 will be no slouch in terms of performance either. According to the insider, it will offer a modern chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elitewhich brings a high speed increase, but also a significant improvement in energy efficiency thanks to TSMC’s 3nm process. The durability of the puzzle will thus be even better.
From the Digital Chat Station post, we learn more about the cameras. Vivo X Fold4 will once again receive a centered camera module of circular shape, which we are supposed to find in it 50 Mpx main camera, 50 Mpx ultra-wide a 50 Mpx periscopic telephoto lens with triple optical zoom. Similar to the iPhone 16 or the Oppo Find X8 Pro, the novelty should receive a physical trigger button with the ability to register three different pressure levels.
Vivo X Fold4, which will reportedly not be missing either ultrasonic fingerprint reader integrated into both displays or IPX8 certificationmay arrive in the next quarter of the following year. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that it would reach the Czech Republic through the official route.
