Vodafone Group sells another 10% of Vantage Towers for 1.3 billion euros – Telecommunications

The Vodafone group announced the sale of a further 10% of Vantage Towers for 1.3 billion euros, with the telecommunications tower company now being owned 50/50 by the British group and the investment fund group led by Global Infrastructure Partners and KKR.

The proceeds generated by the sale of this stake – which was already foreseen when Vodafone sold the first ‘slice’ to this group of investors in 2022 – will be aimed at debt reduction.

“Vodafone will receive 1.3 billion euros from the sale of this stake, which was sold at 32 euros per share, the same price as the initial transaction, announced on November 9, 2022”, details the operator. This operation increases the total revenue generated to 6.6 billion with the sale of part of Vantage Towers, which also has towers in Portugal.
