Based on the announcement on the restructuring of the company structure, it can be stated that from January, the 4iG Group will no longer use the Vodafone company and brand name in Hungary, and ONE will initially replace the Vodafone brand name from the beginning of the year, but later it will become the umbrella brand for the commercial units of all telecommunications subsidiaries belonging to the company group .

The transformation also creates a special situation in the Hungarian telecommunications market by the fact that Vodafone (later ONE) will actually be provided with critical infrastructure services by two companies at the same time: The V-Network within the company group, which has fixed and active mobile infrastructure In addition to Távközlési Zrt., the passive elements of the mobile infrastructure will continue to be owned by Vantage Towers, which is part-owned by the British Vodafone Group and was created in 2020 through the spin-off from Vodafone Hungary.

According to the 4iG Group’s announcement last year, the structural separation, which is currently underway or has already been completed, affecting all of the group’s telecommunications interests, according to the management’s preliminary estimate, may result in an increase in company value exceeding HUF 400 billion.
