Volkswagen has started selling another sporty GTX model from the ID family of electric vehicles. It is the ID.3 GTX Performance, which costs 52,295 euros in Germany.
As a reminder, the base ID.3 GTX has 210 kW/286 hp (it accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds and can reach an electronically limited 180 km/h), while this ID.3 GTX Performance has 240 kW/326 HP (reaches 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, top speed is electrically limited to 200 km/h).
Both versions have rear-wheel drive and a 79 kWh battery that is claimed to offer a range of up to 600 km and can be charged at 175 kW (from 10 to 80 percent in 26 minutes).
The cars get a suspension revision to match their sporty personalities. The ID.3 GTX Performance also comes with DCC adaptive dampers which should improve both comfort and body control over the regular ID.3 GTX.
