Volkswagen recently introduced the ID. The high-performance Buzz GTX, but now also buyers of the Cargo version of the electric van can choose a sporty look thanks to an optional accessories package, which includes a body kit and “fake windows”.
It is a package that Volkswagen offers to customers in the Netherlands. Panels that look like glass makes that ID. Buzz Cargo looks like a passenger version of a van with tinted windows. These panels have no functional purpose as they are only applied to the panels of the van.
Another interesting option is the Syling package, which includes an accentuated front splitter, protective side skirts and a rear spoiler. The body kit can be optionally combined with the Red Accent package, which adds a touch of color to the front bumper and side mirror housings, as well as protection for the rear bumper.
Volkswagen also offers individual customization options, including different 20-inch wheel designs, black badging, high-gloss mirrors and a black finish around the bumper intakes that make a big difference to the design, as the Cargo looks even more aggressive than the ID model. Buzz GTX. Finally, the interior can be covered with durable eco-leather.
Photos of the modified ID model. Buzz Cargo appeared on the Internet a few months ago, but the packages are only now available in the Netherlands. Except for panels that “imitate” glass, all accessories are also available for the standard ID. Buzz.
As for the drive, the ID. Buzz Cargo is available with three options. Versions with one motor and rear-wheel drive develop 170 and 286 hp, while the version with two electric motors and four-wheel drive delivers 340 hp.
The prices of visual improvements are also known. Syling package costs 1,795 euros, 20-inch rims 1,790 euros, panels 695 euros, Red Accent package 495 euros, and black markings 305 euros.
The total figure is 5,080 euros and is added to the price of the basic ID model. Buzz Cargo, which is 39,990 euros in the Netherlands.
