Volos – “Monkey” Priest: “I am an exorcist, I have never taken money from believers

“Satan does everything”, claimed the monkey-priest who identifies himself as a “Monk Shepherd” in the area of Volos and specifically in Nea Ionia, who tried to deceive the faithful, extorting exorbitant amounts of money from them, according to a statement from the Holy Dimitria .

“This is all the war of Satan and the demons who want to devour me and keep me from doing good in the world. I have never taken money from believers” he himself reported to Mega.

As the “Postman” revealed, however, there are complaints against him that for… the false priest in question was asking for 500 to 800 euros for an untangling!

“If there is a person who said that I get 800 euros, let him come here and give it back. I have never received any money. I’m not into money. All that seems to be not your reverend’s fault but mine. Because I’m an exorcist,” said the monkey priest.

“Satan does everything”

As the man in question stated to Mega, he interprets in his own way the complaints that are raining against him and also the reason why the Local Church calls on the faithful to avoid any association with him.

“Satan threatened me, he hit my mosque. He told me you will stop doing exorcisms because I will deprave you and I will make you a robe again, as I have done before. The demons go and hold councils and then they go and get their own to fight me. All this is because I am an exorcist.” states, while he categorically denies that he has received any amount of money for the services he says he offers in exorcisms and untangling.

He claims that years ago he resigned as a clergyman and renounced his salary. “I received a salary for many years, but I resigned because I wanted to be quiet in the monastery”, he said characteristicallywhile pthen he revealed that he was also expelled from another Metropolis because – as he says – he performed exorcisms there as well.

“Mesogaias & Lavreotikis expelled me, Nikolaos, because I performed exorcisms. Demons do that. That I’m not a good priest.”

The residents complained that it was electricity theft, with him replying that his neighbors give him their electricity.

“The neighbors give us electricity”

At the same time, new information states that the priest was also preparing to build small apartments above the temple and exploit them for short-term rental as Airbnb. “No, these are lies. I’m trying to make a room where people drink coffee”, he says himself.

“The Holy Metropolis warns us that this is a person who has nothing to do with the Canonical Church and is trying to deceive our people, exploiting the gullible religious sentiment, to satisfy financial and other purposes. Our Local Church calls our people to avoid all contact and association with him, because he risks falling into a grave error, obviously and multiply destructive”, said the Holy Metropolis of Dimitrias.
