Dongfeng Motor Corporation Group unveils preview of Voyah Couragea new mid-sized electric SUV with plenty of on-board technology and a rather aerodynamic exterior design.
The company has not yet disclosed all the technical and mechanical features, but the car can be seen live for the first time at Turin Car Show from 13 to 15 September 2024. Let’s find out.
Very aerodynamic exterior
Starting as always from the exterior, the Chinese designers of the Dongfeng Group have used all the experience gained in the development of the company’s other cars to give shape and life to this new crossover.
The front, in fact, is characterised first of all by an illuminated and, according to the manufacturer, interactive radiator grille, combined with full-LED headlights. LED on two levels and with bumpers with rounded and rounded shapes.
A style that has also been used to design the side, which features a two-tone “suspended” roof combined with a rear end with rounded lines and headlights. OLED next generation.

Technological interiors
Moving on to the interior, then, as mentioned, the passenger compartment of the Voyah Courage is full of interesting technological contents. Even if the company has not disclosed any specific photos, from the first published features we can read that on the dashboard, for example, there is a system ambient lighting from as many as 128 colors, which can be managed via an infotainment system with OLED screen which, obviously, includes the new Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as standard.
But that’s not all. Continuing to talk about the technological equipment, in fact, the company has already communicated that among the accessories of the new SUV there is also a system of Level 2 Assisted Driving and air-conditioned and massaging seats, made from recycled materials according to EU OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification.
High-level mechanics
As anticipated, the company has not yet released, in this first phase, all the technical information regarding the powertrain and other features, focusing only on suspension and charging.
Regarding the former, according to Dongfeng, the new Voyah Courage is equipped with a new sistema CDC (Continuous Damping Control), an innovative adaptive suspension system that is able to work constantly to provide the greatest possible comfort in every situation.

Speaking of charging, instead, the drums from the not yet specified capacity of the car is able to obtain energy at a maximum power in direct current of 200 kW and to return it to the outside, through V2L technology, with a maximum alternating current power of 6 kW
The car has already got the 5 stelle in the EuroNCAP safety tests but to know more we will have to wait for the arrival on the European market, which should hopefully take place in the first months of 2025 together with its sister Dongfeng Box.
