Wahana handed over the new Honda BeAT to the winner of Honda DBL Jakarta

DAPURPACUID – PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) together with PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS) handed over the New Honda BeAT prize to the winner of the DBL Championship for the DKI Jakarta area.

It was Bukit Sion High School who managed to end their 2-year title drought, by overthrowing Jubilee High School in the final round at the Indonesia Arena, last December 6.

Meanwhile for the women’s team, the final series of the Honda DBL Jakarta Championship 2024 was won by SMAN 70. This result was the fourth title that was successfully defended in a row.

The SMAN 70 women’s basketball team was able to withstand the onslaught of Jubilee High School and emerged victorious in the final seconds of the match. At the same time, he succeeded in setting a new record in the history of Honda DBL Jakarta.

PT WMS Division Head of Marketing Planning & Analysis, Andra Friandana, admitted that this competition had succeeded in producing young Indonesian basketball players and had received positive responses from various parties.

In fact, continued Andra in his official broadcast, the development of all participating Honda DBL schools also made this competition even more interesting.

For this reason, Andra expressed his highest appreciation and expressed his gratitude to all schools in Jakarta who had taken part in the Honda DBL Jakarta competition.

“This year has been very interesting since the competition started and hopefully in the following years it will be even more competitive and the players will continue to develop, both in terms of skills and teamwork,” he added.

With Bukit Sion High School officially lifting the prestigious Honda DBL Jakarta trophy, Wahana gave each of them 1 New BeAT unit as a form of appreciation for their participation and achievements in this basketball competition.

Lucia Lukito, Principal of Bukit Sion High School appreciated the hard work of the Bukit Sion High School DBL team starting from players, coaches, guidance teachers, cheerleaders, supporters and OSIS because they had worked hard day and night to be able to achieve this title.

“We also express our deepest gratitude to the DBL, Honda and Wahana teams for making this basketball competition so interesting,” he said.

Deputy Principal for Student Affairs at SMAN 70, Desi Purnama Kurniawan, S.Pd., MM also appreciated his women’s basketball team for their persistence until the last second.
