Wahana Holds Synchronization of the 2025 Assisted Vocational School Work Program

DAPURPACUID – PT Wahana Makmur Sejati has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting vocational education through the ‘Synchronization of the 2025 Assisted Vocational Schools Work Program’ activity.

The event was attended by representatives from 50 assisted vocational schools in the Jakarta and Tangerang areas. In the discussion various programs and activities were brought up to be aligned to answer the needs of the ever-growing world of work.

The main aim of this activity is to align school education programs, especially Vocational Schools majoring in Motorcycle Engineering (TSM) with the needs of the Business and Industrial World (DUDI).

Head of Technical PT WMS, Dwi Supriyatno, said that his party believes that the synergy between DUDI will create a competent young generation ready to compete.

“Through the synchronization of this work program, it is hoped that we will be able to improve the quality of vocational education and vocational school graduates, especially in the Jakarta – Tangerang assisted vocational school area,” added Dwi.

The main focus of the discussion was determining priorities for vocational school development, including preparing a relevant curriculum and supporting student competency in the two-wheeled automotive sector.

On the other hand, this program also aims to strengthen the relationship between SMK and AHASS (Astra Honda Authorized Service Station) as a strategic partner.

Not only that, apart from aligning programs, this event is also a forum for determining priority proposals for vocational school programs that suit DUDI’s needs.

That way, in the future, vocational school graduates will be better prepared to enter the workforce and develop the professional attitudes needed by the automotive industry.

This synchronization activity is part of the ‘Synergy for the Nation’ commitment, with direct involvement in various fields, namely education, health, environment, community economic empowerment, and driving safety.

For this reason, several priority program proposals produced are increasing technical training for vocational school teachers, updating practical equipment according to industry standards, as well as administering competency certification for students.

This aims to ensure that vocational school graduates have skills in accordance with job market needs with the best competencies.

It is hoped that the synergy between education and industry can create a professional and competent workforce, especially in the automotive sector.

Through this activity, Wahana Honda and AHM hope to continue to contribute to the development of vocational education in Indonesia, supporting nation development through better and more sustainable education.

“Not just synchronizing work programs, but this is also done as a form of commitment to continue developing the country and preparing quality vocational school graduates who are professional and competent to work in the two-wheeled automotive industry,” concluded Dwi. (dpid/TH)
