DAPURPACUID – Main Honda motorbike dealer Jakarta – Tangerang, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS) held the 2024 #Cari_aman Skill Competition contest, on November 24.
Taking place at the Safety Riding Center, Jatake, Tangerang, this competition was attended by almost 50 participants consisting of company representatives, teachers and the Honda motorbike community.
All participants are divided into two categories, namely Private Company and Advisor Community, where members of the participating community are representatives of the Jakarta Honda Association and the Tangerang Honda Motor Association.
This competition is an annual agenda for Wahana to educate the public about the importance of safe driving, as well as part of efforts to reduce the number of traffic accident fatalities.
Through this contest it is hoped that it will not only protect motorists, but also other road users. For your information, all participants in the 2024 #Cari_aman Skill Competition have previously attended safety riding training.
They are tested in theory and practice on how to drive safely on the road. For this reason, PT WMS appreciates the participants who took part in the training, as well as strengthening the #Cari_aman safety campaign.
The theory test aims to measure participants’ understanding of traffic rules, road signs and driving etiquette. Meanwhile, practical tests are the main assessment.
This test focuses on riding equipment such as helmets, gloves, shoes, as well as technical abilities to ride a motorbike in various situations and conditions that may occur on the road.
Head of Safety Riding PT WMS, Agus Sani said, this competition is a form of commitment to continue educating the public about driving safety, especially motorbikes.
“Through the #Cari_aman campaign, we want to build a safe and responsible driving culture. “Because safety is not only for yourself, it is also for other people on the road,” he added.
This activity not only provides competitive experience to the competition participants, but also provides momentum to instill the value of driving safety.
At the same time, we are committed to always being a pioneer in driving safety, as a means of measuring the extent to which driving skills are applied in daily mobility.
In his official broadcast, Tuesday (26/11), Agus hopes that this event can be an inspiration for the public to better understand the importance of road safety.
“By prioritizing safe driving skills, it is hoped that participants can become agents of change who carry the #Search_Safe campaign message to their respective communities,” he concluded.
This competition is PT WMS’ commitment to supporting driving safety in Indonesia, for Honda motorbike riders in particular.
