DAPURPACUID – Bikers who are members of the Honda Jakarta Association (AHJ) and the Honda Motor Tangerang Association (AHMT) admit that they are ready to enliven the Honda Bikers Day 2024 event.
Taking place at Dodiklatpur Kodam IV Diponegoro, Klaten, Central Java, this week (26/10), it is claimed that hundreds of bikers from the two communities are ready to go on a road trip.
With the spirit of ‘Honda Community Gas to Honda Bikers Day 2024’, Jakarta – Tangerang bikers enthusiastically prepared themselves physically and on their mounts to ride to the venue.
This year, the grand gathering of Honda motorbike users throughout Indonesia has entered its 13th event, with the big title ‘Soundtrack of Brotherhood’.
As the main Honda motorbike dealer in the Jakarta – Tangerang area, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS) has provided supplies to thousands of bikers who will be riding towards HBD 2024.
The training took the form of driving safety knowledge #Cari_Aman and First Aid in Accidents (P3K) training, on September 29 at Idemitsu Moto Lounge, South Jakarta.
In the training, all bikers who attended were educated on the importance of how to take action when something happens while traveling, not just about driving safety.
They were also given instructions on the importance of checking vehicles and safety gear which must be carried via the PT WMS Community PIC during kopdar activities.
Div. PT WMS Head of Marketing Planning & Analyst, Andra Friandana admitted that the 13th HBD event was a witness to the togetherness, cohesiveness and strong brotherhood of tens of thousands of Honda bikers.
“The high enthusiasm of Honda bikers every year on Honda Bikers Day makes this activity the largest gathering of Honda bikers in the world,” he later claimed.
For this reason, he continued, thousands of Jakarta – Tangerang bikers are ready to travel overland to the peak venue for the 2024 HBD celebration, which has now moved to Klaten.
In order to provide comfort and safety on the road, Wahana Honda has provided knowledge about the importance of safety, considering that the journey taken will encounter various road conditions.
“In fact, we have prepared bikers who will gaspol a month ago through a First Aid in Accident (P3K) training event,” he stressed, in an official broadcast.
Among the bikers who expressed their readiness to go to the HBD 2024 Klaten venue, were Antoyogie from the HPCI Tangerang Chapter and Sitaro from HSFCI (Honda Street Fire Club Indonesia) Jakarta.
Yogie explained that even though his daily activities were that of a private employee, he had made preparations for the venue well in advance. Including the readiness of his Honda PCX.
“You must have prepared physically, psychologically and even checked the condition of the motorbike. “I’m enthusiastic about taking part in HBD in this year’s 13th event,” he said.
Sitaro also said the same thing, according to him, long-distance touring is not an easy thing, where you have to prepare everything carefully.
“Starting from completing office work, to carrying out health checks. “I have even prepared the tools that must be brought if something happens to the vehicle on the road,” he concluded.
Previously, as many as 9,613 bikers from three islands in Indonesia, namely Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi enlivened the regional Honda Bikers Day (HBD) 2024.
The first HBD was held on October 5 2024 on Sumatra Island, then on October 12 2024 in South Kalimantan and last October 19 it took place on Sulawesi Island. (dpid/TH)
